Narcissa Explains It All at The Standard East Village

New, 1 comment
Narcissa, as espied from the window of Eater HQ

And John Fraser's new restaurant in The Standard East Village is called...wait for it...Narcissa. That's a much better name than Rotisserie John, Fraser (La Grillade), or Johnny Fraser's Roasters. The restaurant is actually named after a cow on Andre Balazs's farm near Rhinebeck, N.Y., where much of the produce for the restaurant will come from. Fraser tells Flo Fab: "I'm from Southern California, and I'm ready to have my food more closely reflect that style." If everything goes according to plan, Narcissa will open by the end of the week.
