Eater NY Is Seeking a New Full-Time Editor. Is it You?

Effective immediately, Eater NY is on the hunt for a full-time senior editor to join our growing team. Job duties will include reporting on openings, closings, staff shuffles, and all the drama that goes hand in hand with the New York restaurant scene. The ideal candidate has more than one year of experience covering New York restaurants, and a knack for breaking news and uncovering stories. The senior editor will work under editor Greg Morabito out of our HQ in Downtown Manhattan. Although there will be opportunities to write features, the senior editor will mostly focus on the news.

The job is full-time, salary is commensurate with experience, and there are health benefits and a 401(k). Think you'd be a perfect senior editor here at Eater? If so, write us a paragraph about yourself (omitting stories of childhood food memories svp) and a paragraph about why you think you're right for the job and email it to jobs@eater.com with the subject line "Eater NY Editor." If you've got a personal blog, Tumblr, or Twitter, include links to those as well. No resumes, please. If we like what we see, we'll get back to you shortly.
