Washington Post critic Tom Sietsema visits The Gallery at Villard Michel Richard to see how it compares to the chef's D.C. hit, Citronelle: "Fans of the four-star Citronelle are likely to be disappointed by what they find in the Gallery, which lacks the whimsy that's long been a signature of Richard's cooking. The chef suggests as much when I ask him in a follow-up conversation about the, ahem, straightforward presentations in what was meant to be a tour de force. 'I don't have the same employees,' he says, referring to his team in Washington." [WaPo]
