Wine Dinner at Mile End; L'Apicio's BYO Potluck

NOHO — Mile End is teaming up with Red Hook Winery to host a wine dinner at the Manhattan location on January 28. The five-course menu is $85 per person, and includes dishes like smoked bluefish rillette and duck kreplach with smoked duck broth and sauerkraut, each paired with one of the winery's New York state wines. In other news, Mile End is bringing back its prix fixe Chinese food menu on Sundays as an option at both locations. [EaterWire]

WILLIAMSBURG — Aska is launching a series of monthly wine dinners on January 22. There are just 18 seats available for the five-course dinner, at $195 per person. For the first, Frederik Berselius will pair his dishes with wines and ciders from Andreas Spreitzer of Weingut Spreitzer and Hans Reisetbauer of Reisetbauer Spirits, who will both attend the dinner. EAST VILLAGE — L'Apicio is launching a BYO weekend potluck series on Sunday, January 26. The restaurant provides the food, guests bring the wine and beer, and everyone eats together in L'Apicio's private dining room. Tickets are $40 per person, all inclusive, and can be bought online. [EaterWire]
