WILLIAMSBURG — Tomorrow night, The Brooklyn Star will be pouring free tastes of 2012 Cabernet Franc from Bedell Cellars, and anyone who purchases a bottle will enter to win a case of the wine. Chef Joaquin Baca will also create a special dish to pair with this wine. The event is to celebrate the fact that Bedell Cellars on the North Fork recently received the first Sustainable Certification on the East Coast. [EaterWire]

SOHOEater National has more details on Dominique Ansel's newest creation, The Magic Soufflé. This is a Grand Marnier chocolate soufflé encased inside orange blossom brioche, and it will go on sale for $7 starting this weekend. Ansel explains: "I don't want the creation to kill the creativity. It's not so much about making the next Cronut. It's about making something other than the Cronut." [Eater National]
