Melvin's Juice Box Expands to the Dream Downtown

Greenwich Village juice parlor Melvin's Juice Box is expanding with a new location in the Dream Downtown Hotel. Along with Melvin's beloved juices, the new cafe will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The "Melvin's-inspired" menus, designed by the hotel's executive chef Michael Armstrong, will include some all-day items and some breakfast only dishes, plus to-go wraps and "Body Good" salads, based on the juice of the same name.

The new Melvin's Juice Box is slated to open later this fall. It remains to be seen whether the legend himself, Melvin Major, Jr. will ever be found manning the juice bar like he does at the original.
