Former Centrico chef Aaron Sanchez and Frankie & Johnnie's restaurateur Peter Chimos are applying for a liquor license in the old Orchard House space for a restaurant called Alegre. Bowery Boogie reports that this new project will focus on Mexican cuisine. Orchard House has been closed since January. [BB]
