The owners of eight-month-old Williamsburg chicken and waffles restaurant Sweet Chick are planning a second location in the Ludlow Street space that housed Max Fish for over 20 years. A flyer announcing the liquor license application now hangs in the window, and Sweet Chick owner John Seymour confirms the news to Bowery Boogie. Seymour better buy some extra-strength bleach to attack that bathroom.
Before Max Fish closed at the end of July, owner Ulli Rimkus announced plans to reopen the bar in Williamsburg.
