Famed Manganaro's Hero-Boy Is Allowed to Stay Put

Storied Hell's Kitchen sandwich shop Manganaro's Hero-Boy won't be muscled out of its space after all. A new developer bought the building that housed the shop earlier this month, and originally wanted Manganaro's out. But now the Commercial Observer reports that the new owner has come around to letting the shop stay put after a few good meetings with James Dell'Orto, the owner of Manganaro's. The two have settled on a "long-term arrangement," but the lease is confidential, so how long exactly remains unclear.
