Mayor Bloomberg made a radio appearance on The John Gambling Show on WOR 710 today, and spent some time discussing upcoming Tavern on the Green revamp. He says it's definitely going to be better than the original, since people basically only went to that one because "the streets weren't safe and you couldn't go to most restaurants." [Gothamist]
