Cocktail writer extraordinaire Robert Simonson is working on a book that will be published by Ten Speed Press next year called The Old Fashioned: The Story of the World's First Classic Cocktail With Recipes and Lore. The new book will offer "a complete history of one of the world's most iconic cocktails" plus "fifty recipes for classic variations as well as contemporary updates," with photos by Daniel Krieger.
