New York is about to get its own version of Aspen's Chefs Club, a restaurant that hosts visiting chefs throughout the year. Missy Robbins, Matthew Lightner, George Mendes, and Jenn Louis have all done stints at the original location in the St. Regis Aspen. The team from Food & Wine helps curate the list of chefs, and Adour veteran Didier Elena runs the kitchen day-to-day. Stephane De Baets, a money manager that works with the owner of the St. Regis, helped develop the original restaurant, and he's involved in the New York iteration.
Flo Fab reports that the New York version of Chefs Club will open in a space inside the Puck Building next spring. Earlier this summer, De Baets told the Times: "New York will be our flagship for what we hope will eventually be a global enterprise."
