Butter Is Currently Closed for Renovations

Butter in Noho closed earlier this month for renovations that will last through the middle of November. Alex Guarnaschelli, Richie Akiva, and Scott Sartiano are currently working on the new Midtown location of Butter, which is slated to open on West 45th Street next month.

The OpenTable page for the Lafayette Street original is currently down, and a sign about the renovations now hangs in the window. Here's the message on Butter's answering machine right now:

Thank you for calling Butter. We are currently undergoing renovations at our Lafayette Street location. We expect to reopen closer to Mid-November. In addition, our new Butter at the Casa Hotel... is currently under construction and we plan on a late October launch for our new home.
