Chef/restaurateurs Wolfgang Ban and Eduard Frauneder closed their two-star Midtown restaurant Seäsonal at the end of last month, and reopened it last week with a brand new dining room and menu. Now, the space has handmade brass light fixtures, dark green leather banquettes, and warm wood accents. Brooklyn designer Florian Altenburg put it all together. The menu now emphasizes contemporary Austrian cuisine, although it still includes some of the rustic, traditional Austrian dishes from the old menu as well. The cocktail list was created in partnership with the bartenders at Wolfgang and Eduard's downtown bar, The Third Man. Here's a look at the space and the menu:
