DITMAS PARK — The Dogwood, a new Carolinas-inspired restaurant from the husband-and-wife team behind the Southern pop-up The Fat Beagle just updated its menu for the fall. The list of new dishes includes sorghum-glazed quail, boiled peanut hummus, and a pimento cheeseburger. The restaurant also plans to start hosting live music once a week. [EaterWire]

EAST VILLAGE — Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria has added some new prepared foods to its take-away lunch menu. Now in addition to their usual sandwiches, cheese, and charcuterie, dishes like tomato panzanella and farro salad are available to purchase by the pound. [EaterWire]

WEST VILLAGE — Louro's next Nossa Mesa Supper Club meal will be an umami dinner on Monday, September 16. The menu features various house-made soy sauces and fermented vegetables, with dishes like anchovy salad and kimchi pork and rice. The seven-course meal is BYOB, and costs $65 per person. Make reservations by calling 212-206-0606 or by emailing nossamesa@louronyc.com. [EaterWire]

'BUCKSWIRE — As the Pumpkin Spice Latte makes its seasonal return to the Starbucks menu, some fall-flavor-loving vegans are petitioning the coffee shop to remove the dairy from the drink. Even when the latte is made with soy milk, the syrup itself contains condensed milk, and now one Michigan resident has started a petition on Change.org to fix that. So far the petition has garnered over 1,700 signatures. [~EN~]
