Sandy-Battered BIN no. 220 Reopens in the Seaport

South Street Seaport wine bar BIN no. 220, one of the many businesses that has struggled to rebuild since Hurricane Sandy devastated that neighborhood, finally reopened for business on Monday. It's still in soft-opening mode, but currently doing business nightly.

Meanwhile KEG no. 229, its sister beer bar down the street, remains shuttered. Though the website currently says it'll reopen in "mid-September" with a new menu and a new interior, a recent update on the bar's Facebook page says that the opening date will actually be "more like the end of October beginning of November."
