Hirohisa, a Serene New Japanese Restaurant in Soho

Former Sushi Samba chef Hirohisa Hayashi recently opened Hirohisa, a small Japanese restaurant in Soho. Hayashi is serving kappo cuisine, which relies on traditional Japanese cooking methods like boiling, stewing, and frying. The most recent menu includes things like a roasted duck salad, corn and egg flan with uni, miso-marinated lamb, and grilled Wagyu beef. Guests can order a la carte or opt for a seven course tasting for $100, or a nine-course tasting for $150. The Chowhounders are already buzzing about this place. Check out the space and the menu:
