The sisters who own I Cipressi, an Italian restaurant that's been in the works on Avenue A since last fall, have posted flyers around the neighborhood in search of investors. One of the sisters owned the now-shuttered I Coppi, while the other owns Matilda, a restaurant that was hit hard by flooding during Hurricane Sandy. EV Grieve notes that the two have also posted a letter on Facebook, which describes a long struggle to recover from the storm. [EVG]
