Weekly Crab Boil at Pork Slope; Eddie Huang on MTV

FOOD TVMTV just announced a show called Snackdown, which will be hosted by none other than Mr. Eddie Huang. The network will also premiere MTV's House of Food, which will feature "a group of aspiring young chefs [living in] a house in Los Angeles where they will learn from noted culinary honchos and compete for the apprenticeship of a lifetime." PARK SLOPE — Last week's crab boil was a hit, so Dale Talde and his Pork Slope crew have decided to host one every Wednesday night through the end of the summer. Also, Pork Slope is now offering an Arnold Palmer slushie made with bourbon and white peaches. The restaurant developed this with Kelvin Natural Slush Co. [EaterWire]

GREENWICH VILLAGEMiss Lily's just launched a "body good" menu of healthy dishes made with organic ingredients. Options include rice noodle salad, quinoa seaweed salad, and brown rice and callaloo with tofu, to name a few. [EaterWire]

CHEF SHUFFLES — The Andaz just hired Chad Minton to be the executive chef of the restaurant. He previously worked for the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco. [EaterWire]
