Fast-Food-Wages-Protests.jpgFast food workers across the country went on strike yesterday, demanding a $15 minimum wage and the right to unionize. These were the biggest walkouts yet, taking place in 60 different cities, including New York. According to the AP, Council Speaker Christine Quinn joined 300 to 400 protesting workers outside a McDonald's in Midtown, but business inside went on as usual. [~EN~]
