Do or Dine's Rub a Grub; Rosh Hashanah at Épicerie

BED-STUY — Do or Dine's Rub-A-Grub party is this Sunday, September 1. The party will feature three rounds of food paired with cocktails and a DJ set. The event starts at 2 p.m. with appetizers and bloody Marys, and ends at 10 p.m. with cocktails and a pig roast by Justin Warner. Tickets are $20 in advance. Justin Warner also sends word that the restaurant will be closed for some renovations from Monday through Wednesday. Do or Dine will reopen on Thursday. [EaterWire]

Traditional dishes ranging from noodle kugel to braised beef brisket are available for order online, and can either be delivered or picked up in-store. MIDTOWN — The Sea Grill in Rockefeller Center is introducing an Oyster Happy Hour, with $1 oysters, $10 glasses of champagne and wine, and half off all bottles of domestic wine. The special runs from September 10 to 27, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekdays. [EaterWire]
