Given that only a handful of restaurants in the city still require men to wear jackets, the ones that still do are finding that they have to keep a lot more loaner jackets on hand. But according to the New York Times, those places have also gotten more generous towards their underdressed guests, trading out the "stained, ill-fitting polyester jackets of shame" of old for Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, or even, in the case of Daniel, custom-made blazers.
