PARK SLOPE — Pork Slope is celebrating its first birthday with a party this Sunday. There will be a game of bingo with beer and whiskey prizes, specials on pitchers and pints of Coors, and, since it's also Patrick Swayze's birthday, a cake decorated with Swayze "circa Road House." The party starts at 7 p.m. and lasts all night, admission is free. [EaterWire]
TRIBECA — A new outpost of Juice Press is coming soon to Greenwich Street. Tribeca Citizen reports that the newest location for the raw food/cold pressed juice bar will open some time in the next couple of months. [TC]
GRAMERCY — Trattoria Il Mulino, the latest offshoot of the rapidly expanding Il Mulino, is almost ready to open. Zagat has a peek at the menu, which includes some more affordable pizzas and pastas than at the less-casual original. There's also a separate bar menu meant to cater to the younger downtown crowd.
