The Department of Transportation has issued around 3,000 violations to restaurant bicycle delivery people since new legislation for delivery workers went into effect in April. The new guidelines require delivery workers to wear helmets and reflective vests, and all bikes are supposed to be outfitted with headlights, taillights, and bells. The Post reports that 900 of the violations were handed out on the Upper West Side. [NYP] [Photo]
