LONG ISLAND CITY — On Wednesday, August 28, Rosemary's is hosting a rooftop dinner at the Brooklyn Grange. Chef Wade Moises will cook a meal full of rooftop-grown produce, with dishes like cold fried chicken with Italian kale slaw, and tuna crudo with jalapeno puttanesca. The dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $80 per person and can be purchased online.

CHELSEA — The Green Table is hosting the annual Tomato Fest fundraiser for Food Systems Network NYC this year. The "tomato-themed cocktail party" will include tastes from The Green Table, Foragers Table, Runner and Stone, and Suenos NYC, plus some cocktails from the Parish Hall beverage team. The event starts at 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 18 and tickets are $55 for non-FSNYC members. [EaterWire]
