Marlow Summer Fair, Hawaiian Barbecue, and More

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are five choice dining events going on around the city:

MarlowSummerFair-401.jpg1) Marlow Summer Fair
When: Sunday, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Parking lot at Broadway & Berry Sts.
What: Marlow and Sons is throwing a Summer Fair tomorrow evening. Expect sausages, grilled corn, snow cones, and draft beer. Tickets will be available at the door for $10, with all proceeds benefitting Cayuga Pure Organics, a local farm that's trying to rebuild after a devastating fire.

When: Sunday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Roberta's
What: Tomorrow evening, the Heritage Radio Network is hosting a party in Roberta's garden. There will be barbecue courtesy of BrisketTown's Daniel Delaney, mini-pizzas from Roberta's, spam fried rice from Chris Bradley of Untitled at the Whitney, and popsicles from La NewYorkina. Beer and cocktails will also be available. Tickets are $95.

When: Sunday, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: Hotel Chantelle
What: Chef Seth Levine is bringing a lobster bake to his sprawling club/restaurant/cocktail den Hotel Chantelle tomorrow evening. There will be mounds of Maine lobsters, $25 buckets of Red Stripe, and reggae music. If you buy your tickets in advance, you'll get your hands on a free beer or cocktail. To make a reservation, call the restaurant at 212-254-9100.

When: Today, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Momofuku Má Pêche
What: Momofuku's bar manager John Debary will teach a cocktail-making class this afternoon. Guests will learn how to make a drink using the "hidden gems" already in most people's kitchen pantry. Tickets are still available online for $75.

sixpoint-lic-bar-crawl.jpg5) Sixpoint Craft Beer and Food Crawl
When: Today, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Various locations
What: Later today, Get Real Presents is kicking off a beer crawl through Brooklyn and Queens. The tour includes eleven bars and restaurants in Greenpoint and LIC, including Alobar, Calexico, Alewife, and Beloved. The crawl costs $100 per person and includes one Sixpoint beer at each location and access to a special $3 sample menu.

2012_05_smorgasburgAlso of Note: Smorgasburg is open for business this weekend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with vendors like Pizza Moto, Blue Marble Ice Cream, and Takumi Taco. The Hester Street Fair is on for this weekend as well, with extended hours for the Hester Street Night Market. Looking to try a new restaurant this weekend?
