Piora, Chef Chris Cipollone's West Village Restaurant

Earlier this week, chef Chris Cipollone and restaurateur Simon Kim opened their casual new West Village bistro, Piora, in the space that formerly housed The Goodwin. Cipollone was the chef at Tenpenny when it earned high marks from the critics and the bloggers. His menu at Piora includes things like scallops with chanterelles, duck confit, barbecued octopus, English pea angolotti with truffles, and suckling pig with radish and apples. It's an eclectic menu, but it looks like there are a lot of crowd pleasers on there. Take a look around the space and check out the menu:
