Marc Forgione's Southeast Asian restaurant, Khe-Yo, opens tonight in the Tribeca space that formerly housed Duane Park. Forgione's longtime right hand man Soulayphet Schwader — AKA "Chef Phet" — is the executive chef here. His menu includes things like crunchy coconut rice with sausage, bamboo grilled quail, duck laap, spare ribs, grilled chicken, and pork belly with quail egg. There are just 13 items on Chef Phet's menu, and most of the entrees are priced between $21 and $25. Eventually, Khe-Yo will offer sandwiches to go and a full lunch menu in the dining room, but right now it's only open for dinner. Take a look around, check out the menu below, and do send any early reports our way.
