When: Today, noon to 11 p.m.

What: The Bushwick Block Party returns this afternoon for the fourth year running. The lineup of vendors is strong, featuring food from Roberta's, Yuji Ramen, Action Bronson, Crif Dogs, Arancini Brothers, and Red Hook Lobster Pound. There will also be plenty of beer, shots of Fernet Branca, live music, and photo booth set up around the street. Check out the event map here.

What: This evening there will be a Brooklyn Luau in the garden at Res, the new restaurant/culinary lab from the minds of Frank Falcinelli and Frank Catronovo. Expect frozen drinks, tropical barbecue snacks, and other forms of "island fun." The event is pay-as-you-go and cash only.

Each night, 32 guests will watch video art on four massive projection screens while eating a multi-course meal cooked by a rotating lineup of notable chefs. And tomorrow evening, Fred Hua, the man behind Brooklyn's beloved sandwich shop Nhà Tôi, is cooking the meal. Tickets to this installment of the series are $50.
