The Cronut Project Kicks Off Tomorrow

New, 6 comments

The Cronut King cannot be stopped. Not satisfied with plain old Cronuts, Dominique Ansel has teamed up with the Food Bank For New York City to create Cronuts for the Greater Good. Introducing The Cronut Project, a fundraiser benefitting the hunger-relief organization.

Here's how it works: every day for the next five days, the Food Bank will be offering up one special edition passion fruit Cronut to that day's highest donor, with a second Cronut going to another lucky (and randomly selected) donor. All Cronuts will be delivered on Saturday, August 3 or Sunday, August 4, within six hours of being plucked from the fryer. Donations open tomorrow at 9 a.m.
