Status: Opening Tonight

Atrium Dumbo is the new restaurant in the space that housed Governor until last October, when Sandy's floodwaters shuttered that restaurant for good. Chef Laurent Kalkotour is serving a menu inspired by the Provence region of France, where he grew up. Alexander LaPratt is the beverage director, and Leslie Affre is running the front of the house. The three main players at the restaurant all worked together at DB Bistro Moderne in Midtown.

The menu includes things like oysters on the half shell, quinoa tagliatelle, marinated scallops, pork tortellini, grilled trout, roasted free-range chicken, and a strip steak with fries. Entrees are priced in the high teens and low twenties. LaPratt's wine list has over 100 selections, and the bar is serving cocktails created by PDT veteran Payman Bahmani. The space has a ground-level dining room, plus a mezzanine that looks out onto the Brooklyn waterfront.

Check out the menu below, and stay tuned for pictures of the space tomorrow.
