Here's Proof of Grey Dog's Return to Carmine Street

The Grey Dog, born in 1996 on Carmine Street, closed its original location a couple of years ago, much to the dismay of West Village residents, focusing instead on its other three locations. Now, the café is returning to the street where it all began. A tipster sends in the above photo, of the adorable note in the door of the former Marinella space at 49 Carmine, as proof.
