A former employee of fancy chicken strip restaurant Sticky's Finger Joint is suing her old boss for allegedly tricking her into eating magic mushrooms on the job. The waitress, Sofie Rasmussen, claims that restaurateur Paul Abrahamian called her into the kitchen to blind-taste a new dish in front of the staff one afternoon. But instead of feeding her a fancy chicken strip, he allegedly crammed some potent, hallucinogenic 'shrooms into her mouth. Rasmussen tells the Post:

It didn't taste great. I was so confused...Then I realized what it was...I felt weird. I was floating. I really didn't want to talk to customers. I was being goofy. I was tripping, and I had one or two hours left on my shift.
Rasmussen never confronted her boss about the incident for fear that she would be fired, but she quit in December and now she's suing him. Co-owner Jonathan Sherman tells the Post: "This is a false claim. We are confident we will be vindicated once it goes through the legal system."
