The very first NYC outpost of Umami Burger will "most likely, 92 percent sure" open in Greenwich Village at 8 p.m. next Friday, says owner Adam Fleischman. That will commence the popular L.A. burger chain's rapid takeover of the city, with locations in Battery Park City, Williamsburg, and more soon to follow.
