Welcome to our photo series Eater Scenes, where Eater photographer Daniel Krieger visits some of the city's great restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Today, Eisenberg's.

This is a special Greasy Spoons Week edition of Eater Scenes, with Daniel Krieger visiting 84-year-old Flatiron lunch counter Eisenberg's Sandwich Shop. On a recent Tuesday, the old-timer was packed with lunchers enjoying milkshakes, that iconic tuna salad sandwich, solid pastrami sandwiches, and so much more. Eisenberg's has been open since 1929 and, as the normal lunchtime atmosphere suggests, it's still going strong. Check out all the photos below:
