A restaurateur by the name of James Morrissey plans to open a pub serving "Irish gourmet food" in the National Underground space on East Houston. Elsewhere in the neighborhood, Jim Chu's White Rabbit will close soon to make way for a new cafe and bar called Fools Gold. The CB3 gave initial approval to liquor licenses at both locations last night. [BB]
