Financial District Five Guys Location Shutters

A reader sends in this photo of the Five Guys on Fulton Street in the Financial District, which closed this past Sunday. This particular branch of the burger joint is one of many casualties of a new building project from the Lightstone Group, which will soon demolish three buildings on that block in order to make way for a 48-story residential tower. But the closing also follows a rash of shuttered Five Guys in Brooklyn earlier this year, despite the chain's promises to open 20 more locations in the city.
