More details are emerging on China Blue, the restaurant slated to take over the space once occupied by Capsouto Freres, the Tribeca bistro dearly departed in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. The owners are Xian Zhang and Yiming Wang, who also own Cafe China, the Midtown Sichuan restaurant that Pete Wells awarded two stars in the New York Times last year. DNAinfo reports that the new Tribeca place will be "white tablecloth," and serve a seafood-centric menu inspired by Shanghai cuisine, with "more delicate flavors" than the Sichuan-style of the original location. As of now, the owners are aiming for a November opening.
