Critically acclaimed Upper East Side newcomer Tanoshi Sushi is now taking reservations over the phone. Before this week, if you wanted one of the coveted 10 seats at the bar, you had to go to the restaurant on the day that you wanted to dine there at 2 p.m., and write down your name on a piece of paper. Food writer Zach Feldman notices a sign on the window announcing the new policy, and the restaurant has added a note about phone reservations on its website. [Twitter, Tanoshi]
