Parker & Quinn, Immigrant Tap Room, More Now Open

1) Midtown: Located inside Midtown's new boutique Refinery Hotel, Parker & Quinn opened for dinner and drinks service last Tuesday. Per DNAinfo, the menu has small plates and entrées like hanger steak and duck confit. The hotel also has a Prohibition era-inspired cocktail bar called Winnie's Tea Lounge. Status: Certified Open; 62 W 39th St., 212-729-0277.

2) East Village: An EV Grieve tipster reports that The Immigrant Tap Room, the next-door beer bar from the East Village wine bar The Immigrant, is now open. Status: Certified Open; 341 E. Ninth St.

3) Williamsburg: The owners of Second Chance Saloon on Grand Street have opened a new restaurant and bar called The Grand, just a couple of doors down. The chef's an alum of Dressler and Miller's Tavern, pumping out solid food ranging from bar staples to chicken liver mousse and fried rabbit. Status: Certified Open; 647 Grand St.

4) Carroll Gardens: Fork in the Road learns that a new Italian comfort food spot called Old School Brooklyn opened last month. By the Bocca and Cacio e Pepe owner, it has Bocca alum David Buico running the kitchen, which serves up large portions of Italian-American classics. It's open for dinner Tuesdays through Sundays. Status: Certified Open; 520 Court St.

5) Boerum Hill: A couple of weeks ago, a cool new coffee shop called Roogla opened on Smith Street. The shop serves up Intelligentsia coffee (and per Patch, the single-origin ice coffee is especially popular), with pastries from Laurentino's Pasticceria in South Slope. Status: Certified Open; 180 Smith St., 718-488-7401.

6) Lower East Side: Bowery Boogie also gets word that Schapiro's soft opened this past weekend in the former Festival Mexicano space on Rivington. The owners (also behind Antibes Bistro and Falafel Shop on the LES) call it "American with a Jewish/Eastern European twist." For now it's open for cocktails and dinner and will fully open in July. Status: Soft Open; 120 Rivington St.

7) Harlem: A new Indian restaurant called Maharaja Palace opened last Tuesday, per Harlem Gal. It's open for lunch and dinner daily, with takeout and delivery service as well. Apps start at $5 and entrées hit around the $15 mark. Status: Certified Open; 2113 Frederick Douglass Blvd., 212-222-8934.

8) Lower East Side: A mom-and-pop Chinese restaurant on Allen Street called Sir Robert Café is now open, reports Bowery Boogie, which describes it as traditional Chinese cuisine. Status: Certified Open; 157 Allen St., 3470-768-0938.

9) Williamsburg: Battery Harris is now open in the 'Burg, serving up craft cocktails and beer in the former Loreley space, notes Serious Eats. Try the Black Eagle, a riff on an amaro sour. Status: Certified Open; 64 Frost St., 718-384-8900.

10) Carroll Gardens: And one last South Brooklyn opening: Brothers Bagels is now open and serving bagels made in-house, also per Patch. Status: Certified Open; 285 Court St.

11) Williamsburg: Biblio is a new "book-themed restaurant" on Bedford Avenue, which Fork in the Road reports is now open for dinner service. The menu's split into categories like "preface" and "foreword," with items including chicken liver mousse and a Pat LaFrieda burger. Status: Certified Open; 149 N Sixth St.

12) Bed-Stuy: Brownstoner reports that Doris, a new bar on Fulton Street between Classon and Franklin, is now open. It's by husband-and-wife team Jessica Warner and Jason Andrew, and the Pete's Candy Store owner is an investor. It opened last week. Status: Certified Open; 1088 Fulton St. Update: This post erroneously referred to Doris solely as a new project by the Pete's Candy Store team.
