Saxon & Parole vet Matt Lambert recently opened The Musket Room, a new Nolita restaurant serving "modern New Zealand" cuisine. The menu includes things like seared foie gras with brioche and apricots, quail with "bread sauce," steak and cheese pie, tofu gnocchi, and venison with "flavors of gin." The space has a barroom up front, and another dining room that looks out onto a garden. The team raised some of the money for the build-out on Kickstarter.
