Last October, news broke that Little Owl and Market Table's Joey Campanaro would be taking over the former Out of the Kitchen space in the West Village for the follow-up to his flash-in-the-pan Kenmare. At the time, Campanaro and partner Mike Price told Flo Fab they didn't have a name or a concept for it yet, but those details?and a vague target opening?are out. DNAinfo confirms that the restaurant will be called Quality Clam, and that it will fall somewhere in the great nebulous region between clam shack and fine-dining spot. It should open this summer.
Unfortunately, the concept sounds like it probably won't have any of those meatball sliders. Sad face.
