The Financial District location of Luke's Lobster was damaged by Hurricane Sandy, but Luke Holden, Ben Conniff, and their crew were able to get the shop open three and a half months after the storm. Now the people at Luke's Lobster want to help storm victims that weren't so lucky. From now through Saturday, the Luke's Lobster truck will be selling $10 rolls with proceeds going to the Mayor's Sandy relief fund (the rolls are usually priced at $15). Right now the truck is at 57th and Broadway, and Luke's is also offering the $10 rolls at the new Brooklyn Bridge Park kiosk. Tomorrow the truck will be in Midtown, and on Saturday it will be at Pier 13 in Hoboken, with proceeds going to the New Jersey relief effort. Check the Luke's website for updates on where the truck is headed next.
