BUSHWICK — S. Wallace Edwards & Sons, a Virginia-based producer of traditional cured and smoked hams, bacon, sausage and more is hosting a "ham and cheese" garden party at Roberta's this Friday. The Pigs and Pies even will include charcuterie from the third-generation company, plus pizzas topped with their bacon, sausage, ham, and other meats. Tickets are $55 per person and can be purchased online. For even more pork, Edwards is also doing a brunch at Seersucker on Sunday, with country ham, sausage, scrambled eggs, and grits. [EaterWire]

There will also be some festive appetizers and desserts that do not involve buns. Make reservations online or by calling 212-255-1795. [EaterWire]
