Pizza Roma Closed for 'Some Minor Construction Work'

Pizza Roma, the West Village spot known for serving slabs of rectangular, Roman-style pizza, is temporarily shuttered. A sign in the window says that they're "closed for some minor construction," but that they plan to reopen later this summer. Their phone is also "temporarily disconnected," so no word yet on when exactly that will be, or what the minor construction entails.
