New York Palace Announces Names of Richard Projects

Today, the people that run the New York Palace hotel announced some details on the restaurants that French chef Michel Richard will open in the storied building this fall. His casual bakery will be called Pomme Palais, and it will offer desserts and sandwiches to go. His main restaurant will be called Villard Michel Richard, and it will have two dining rooms with two different menus. The 100-seat room will be a French bistro, and the smaller, 46-seat dining room will be something more refined. Richard plans to call this fine dining restaurant within a restaurant The Gallery. Although he has not named a chef yet, Richard plans to open the restaurants this fall.
