Dinosaur Bar-B-Que

Today comes word that Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is actively seeking a Philadelphia location. Even though no one from Dinosaur has gone on the record, Philly.com's Mike Klein reports that the company is "working on a deal to take a building on the 1500 block of Chestnut Street," in Rittenhouse, an area that already has locations of New York favorites like Shake Shack, Luke's Lobster, and Crumbs.

Dinosaur Barbecue, which is now owned by George Soros, currently has locations in New York City, upstate New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. A Gowanus outpost is set to open tomorrow, and there's another in the works for Buffalo, New York. Eater Philly has more details.
