The Breslin Rolls Out Two New Large Format Feasts

New, 7 comments

For all you large format freaks out there, The Breslin has two brand new monster meals for the summertime. One is a fried chicken dinner, which includes a few Belle Rouge chickens that are fried in duck fat, plus slaw, biscuits, habanero sauce, gorgonzola sauce, and rhubarb pie with ice cream. That one's $50 per person, and it's available now. The other new large format meal is a seafood boil with lobster, clams, mussels, whelks, potatos, corn, tomato & cucumber salad, brioche buns, and pie for dessert. That one's $75 per person, and it will debut at the beginning of July. April Bloomfield created these new dinners with her chef de cuisine Christina Lecki.

As a drink special to accompany these spreads, The Breslin is offering buckets of beer for $25 - $55, liters and half liters of wine for $30 - $58, and a 30 pack of Narrangansett Lager for a cool hundred. The feasts are offered to parties of six to 12, and reservations can be made by emailing chefs.table@thebreslin.com. The pig, beef, and duck dinners are still available, too.
