Here's a look around Charlie Bird, the new Soho Italian restaurant from sommelier Robert Bohr and chef Ryan Hardy. In a previous life, this space housed King, a restaurant that had Champagne buttons on the walls and Medieval chandeliers on the ceiling. Those things are gone, and now the space has a long yellow banquette in the main dining room, a few cozy booths in the front, and prints of boomboxes on the wall. Charlie Bird is now open for dinner.
