Umami Burger Gets a Fresh Layer of Plywood

Here is a look at the current state of the first New York location of Adam Fleischman's beloved LA based-chain, Umami Burger. A fresh layer of plywood went up on the space last week, but the interior hasn't changed in the week and a half since Eater last took a look. A worker at the space says that the restaurant's Greenwich Village outpost should open in about three weeks. Let's hope it's worth the wait.
